If you already perform the first lesson chords quite fluently, and is capable of changing from one to another with relative ease, you can begin to practice a strum, that of the zamba.
It is possible that concern about making the changes on time you neglect your attention to the sound, but as in all the practical things you can only take for learned what you do well, so occasionally verify that each string it sounds correctly.
Start with a very slow pace to avoid stopping to make the chord change, which in the beginning is hard enough. Remember that you are practicing, it is still not accompaning a zamba. Then gradually you must to increase speed until reach at the rhythm of the animated example. It would be highly recommended to read the section Strums.
